The Watford Observer reported that "The Oaks Turkish Kitchen in West Hyde, Rickmansworth, has been forced to shut its doors temporarily after it was served with a temporary closure notice for nuisance or disorder on June 18. Action was taken by Three Rivers District Council. It comes just weeks after the pub, formerly "The Oaks", reopened on May 31 under new management. District council officers and representatives for the pub attended

District council officers and representatives for the pub attended St Albans Magistrates’ Court on June 19 after Three Rivers applied for a longer-term closure order, which was contested by the The Oaks licence holder".
