Sperm whale tissue analysis. Microscope slide with tissue rom a dead sperm whale (Physeter macrocephalus). The sample came from a dead male sperm whale that was found on Henne Strand, Jutland, Denmark. The specimen measured 14 meters in length and weighed an estimated 30 tonnes. Photographed at the National Veterinary Institute in Copenhagen.
