The car houses have space forthe storage of double the present equipment. The building alsoincludes a small repair shop, equipped with lathes, drill presses,emery wheels, blacksmiths forge, etc. There are facilities forrewinding armatures, but although the road has been in operationfor more than a year, there has been no demand whatever for thisclass of work, as the management has yet to experience the burn-ing out of an armature. The power house (Fig. 3) is designed with a view to extensionswhen the Fostoria-Toledo line is built. The power equipmentconsists of two 250-kw 6so-volt Westinghouse railway generators(Fig. 4), direct-connected to two 300-hp 4-valve tandem com-pound Russel en
