Weathered bricks from second world war damaged houses on Crosby Beach, Merseyside, England


The rubble from second world war bomb damaged houses in Liverpool used to be transported to the sand dunes and beaches along the Mersey – in this case Crosby Beach. The inscriptions on many of the bricks show that most were from brick works in Accrington, Lancashire
