With the Church of the Holy Spirit beyond, and infront the statue of Mikolaj Kopernik (Nicolaus Copernicus) the famous astronomer, who was born here. The Town Hall was built at the end of the 14 th century in Gothic architectural style though has received some later Renaissance additions. Former Hanseatic town.
