The newengineering building with its shops and laboratories was dedicatedJanuary 21, 1894. Two days after, the main building, laboratoriesand part of the shop wings were completely destroyed by two years, the present building was rebuilt on the saiue plansas the one burned. The locomotive which was in this fire wdienrebuilt was placed in the present locomotive laboratory. In Juneof this year fifteen degrees were given in Mechanical Engineering.
