Stavanger Havnesilo was built for grain by the Norwegian State Cereal Store. The largest silo building was built in 1965, the smallest in 1978


The plant has a storage capacity of 195,000 tonnes of grain and 30,000 tonnes of molasses, which is used for animal feed, and is the largest in Scandinavia. The largest one with 10 tubes wide holds grain. Smaller one holds Molasses.
