Upon the completion of Fort Hamilton Captain Trumpwas ordered to commence the erection of Fort Norris,and appears to have been relieved by Captain Craig, whois reported on duty April 20, 1756, with 41 men. Commissary James Young makes the following reportconcerning Fort Hamilton: 24 June 1756—Fort Hamilton. At 4 A.
