This remarkable photo captures the moment two lilac-breasted roller birds appeared to take a ride on the back of a zebra who doesn't seem to mind. MASAI MARA, KENYA: The WONDERFUL moment two birds appeared to lazily take a ride on the back of a zebra has been caught on camera. The two lilac-breasted roller birds perched on the backside of an unsuspecting 850-pound zebra, who seemed happy to accommodate his new friends. The heart-warming pictures were captured by power station planner Mykal Dutton (48) from Lancashire, UK whilst on safari at the Masai Mara National Park in Kenya. He took the photos from just 20 feet away using a FujiFilm XT3 camera with a Fujinon 100/400 lens. Fortunately for the lilac-breasted rollers, zebras are herbivores and eat four-pounds of grass per day. They often will spend up to 80 per cent of their waking day grazing in order to stay full. / Mykal Dutton
