BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, LA. - Capt. Matthew Sherwood, 2nd Dental Squadron dental resident, makes preparations to install a prosthetic molar in the lower jaw of Staff Sgt. Mozer Da Cunha, 2nd Bomb Wing Public Affairs photojournalist, at the Barksdale Dental Clinic, April 4, 2019. The dental implant consists of a metal post implanted into the jaw, an abutment which serves as an extension of the post and the prosthetic tooth, which attaches to the abutment piece.
