The cattirfrom the prairie clean up the field of threshed alfalfa straw and hay, thii>bringing a good and sure return, as it is fed out to stock through the winteiIt is the combination of the two industries — the growing of alfalfa amifeeding the same to stock — that produces the best results and causes tinalfalfa farmer to be envied more than all others of his class, for his retunis greater, with a less expense.
