This is the complex of nebulosity around the star Gamma Cygni, aka Sadr, in central Cygnus, and labeled IC 1318 or the Butterfly Nebula. The star cluster NGC 6910 is at top centre. The dark dust lane cutting through the nebula is catalogued as Lynds Dark Nebula 889. This is a stack of 25 x 5-minute exposures with the filter-modified Canon R (though no nebula filter per se was used for the exposures) at ISO 800, on the Askar APO120 refractor with its Reducer/Flattener for and 670mm focal length. Autoguided with the MGENIII on the Mach1 mount. Taken from home October 19, 2023.
