This house lias the greater portion of the front open and is so designed that in winter a batten door and sash may be installed to Ivcep the house wariii on cold nights. This type of liouse lias been tried our by thi; writer and has given entire satisfaction in every way thougn its shape recjuires more space to accommodate a given number of birds than our open front house shown in plan number one.
