This image, was captured at an undisclosed location, and depicts a Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) 12-hour Push-Package being unloaded off of a transport truck, and on to a military transport vehicle, as a number of people oversaw this materiel transfer procedure. It appears that this group was composed of SNS staff, and military personnel. It appeared that this module contained what might have been a radiographic device. These modular containers are ready-made for shipment, while still at the SNS warehouse. This module had yet to be be locked to its metal palette.

If a community experiences a large-scale public health incident, where the disease or agent is unknown, the stockpile sends a 12-hour Push-Package, containing a broad-range of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies. Contents are pre-packed and configured in transport-ready containers for rapid delivery anywhere in the United States within 12 hours of the federal decision to deploy. Each package contains 50 tons of emergency medical resources. The stockpile has multiple 12hr Push-Packages stored in strategically located warehouses throughout the country ready for deployment. Immediately shipping, or pushing, a variety of items to the affected state allows authorities to begin or sustain response efforts. All states have plans to receive and distribute Push-Packages quickly to local jurisdictions. Each container is color-coded and numbered allowing those receiving a shipment to easily identify and organize the materials.
