Palestinian demonstrators are injured from tear gas and live ammunition fired at them by Israeli soldiers during clashes at the Israel-Gaza border, close to the Israeli outpost of Nahal Oz, during the 24th “Great March of Return” rally. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, 180 Palestinians have been injured by live bullets or teargas inhalation at today's demonstrations at different encampments in the Gaza Strip along the border with Israel, including a volunteer paramedic, Shurooq Abu Musameh, who was wounded in the chest by direct gunfire. Some Palestinian protesters were burning tyres to reduce the visibility of Israeli snipers deployed on the other side of the fence, while others were throwing stones towards the fence. According to Israeli official sources one incendiary balloon was launched from Gaza into southern Israel causing a fire. Palestinian official sources claim that more than 171 Palestinian have been killed and 18,000 have been injured since the beginning of the Great March of Returns protests on March 30th. Protesters have been demanding the end of the Israeli blockade on Gaza and support for the right of Palestinian refugees to return to the land they fled or were evicted from during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war
