A heavy military matchlock/wheellock musket, Nuremberg circa 1580/90 Heavy octagonal barrel with smooth bore in 19 mm calibre. Dovetailed globe sight. The aluminium top with struck inventory mark "Pern 1442" (possibly later). Behind that struck Nuremberg proof mark and barrel maker's mark "Turk's head" (cf. Stöckel no. 8479). At the breech struck decoration. The lock with combined matchlock/wheellock ignition, the release button for the spring-loaded pan lid is missing.
