A militia sabre, with scabbard, sword knot and sword belt. Curved, single edged blade with fullers and a pandour point. Rust in places. Etched decoration on both sides with the Hamburg coat of arms, trophies, and vine work. Gold plated, decorated, lion head pommel, blank name cartouche. Sharkskin grip cover wrapped with wire. Gilded scabbard with two suspension rings, lower part shows signs of use.
