Steel structures of Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia


The Petronas Twin Towers comprising of a pair of 88-storey buildings, are the world's tallest free-standing towers as at 2003 with a height of 452 metres. Apart from offices, these towers also house a state-of-the-art Petronas Philharmonic Hall, home of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and the Petronas Performing Arts Group. Spotting geometric patterns common in Islamic architecture, the tower features a double-deck sky-bridge and high speed double-deck lifts.
