The Panthéon in Paris, France. It was originally commissioned around 1750 as an abbey church, but due to financial problems it did not open until 1789. Two years later it was converted to a secular mausoleum for the important figures of the time. Well known figures in the crypt include Emile Zola, Marie Curie, Jean Moulin, Voltaire, Victor Hugo and Jean-Jacques Rousseau.
