The temporal lobe of the brain. The temporal lobe includes notably the auditory cortex : primary auditory cortex (reception of sounds) and Wernicke's area (associated with the treatment of language). The functions of the other regions of the temporal lobe are not currently clearly defined. See images 0744407 for the temporal lobe divided according to its functions, 0742007 for the auditory cortex alone, 0742507 for the primary auditory cortex alone, 0745107 for the Wernicke's area alone. See. images 0742407 for the four lobes, 0743707 : frontal lobe, 0744107 : parietal lobe, 0743907 : occipital lobe.
