The Utah AIr National Guard, Utah Army National Guard and Air Force Reserve conduct a joint training operation April 12, 2014, which included an air refueling of F-16 fighter jets, air reconnaissance and rescue of a downed pilot. Maj. Gen. Jeff Burton, adjutant general of the Utah National Guard, observed the exercise up close from the cockpit of a participating F-16 fighter jet based at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.
