The large harvested bales of Miscanthus (Elephant Grass) catching the warm sun of an April evening near the village of Ravensthorpe in Northamptonshire. The crop is grown as a green bio-fuel for burning in power stations. The next years crop will grow, without the need for re-planting, from the old growth and can reach around 8 to 10 feet high. Not a National Trust property
