Michael Burghardt was joined by his co-workers, family and friends, as he retired from the Oregon Army National Guard with over 32 years of military service during a ceremony held in his honor at Camp Rilea, Warrenton, Oregon on July 8, 2022. Burghardt received his commission from Western Oregon State College ROTC in June of 1990, graduating with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Law.
