Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis, who arrived in Israel last night (April 20), was received by a full honor guard of IDF soldiers at the Ministry of Defense and IDF headquarters in Tel Aviv, April 21, 2017. He then met with Israeli Minister of Defense Avigdor Lieberman and other senior defense officials. Later Secretary Mattis met separately with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli President Reuven Rivlin, before departing the country.
