The Chateau at Thillombois, France served as the Headquarters of the 79th Division during World War One. The owner of the Chateau was unfortunately killed at Monfaucon in the Argonne Sector at the start of the war. The 79th Division successfully captured Montfaucon on September 27, 1918.
