The trustees promise some interesting procedure for the May 12 meeting of the St. Louis Florists' Club. The officers will meet at the home of President Eowe, in Kirkwood, to select a meeting place and to arrange the program that the trustees have planned for this big afternoon meeting. The secretary will send out special notices to all members, and a large attendance is expected. Grimm & Gorly furnished one of the largest weddings of the season, April 27. The big job ran close to the $1,000 mark. Henry Duernberg says the com- pany has several big ones booked for next month. II. G. Berning reports that he will have 50,000 peonies for Mothers' day and just as many for Memorial day. Many orders have already been booked ahead. "Say It with Flowers" week at the new Missouri theater last week was a big success. The large lobby was beau- tifully decorated with plants and cut flowers. The theater was filled to ca- pacity every afternoon and evening and the trade greatlv benefited through the publicity it received daily from the press. A floral shop was staged at each performance. Young ladies representing various flowers in dress took part. J. F. Ammann will leave the first part of May for a trip west to the coast on business pertaining to the S. A. F. and the National Flower Growers' Associa- tion. The tr
