Monks Barn (A tythe barn) was built of local materials – chalk and flint stone in the 13th century. It is registered as a Grade II* listed medieval barn in Hurley village, a historical and medieval village on the river Thames in Berkshire, Britain. The barn was part of the nearby old monastery and used for storage of farm produce such as grain by the Benedictine monks who lived in the monastery. Today, the renovated barn caters for large events, weddings and private functions.
