Per J oz., 25 cts The African and French Marigolds are old favorite free-flowering annuals of easy culture; both are extremely effective and are well adapted for large beds or mixed borders; they succeed best in a light soil, with full exposure to the sun. A vase or bowl of any of the rich yellow sorts, in combination with a few blue Larkspurs or Cornflowers, is very striking. We illustrate in colors the African Marigolds, Orange Prince and Lemon Queen, see page 57. (See also Calendulas and Tagcles.) Dwarf Double French Marigolds Few annuals are as effective as the French Marigolds or flower for so long a period; they all form dense bushes not over 12 inches high, and are unequalled for borders or beds. per pkt. 3091 Gold Striped.
