Recruits of Lima Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, conduct a three-mile run during an inventory physical fitness test at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, May 16. There are three parts to the test: pull-ups, a three-mile run and crunches. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Lima Company is scheduled to graduate June 10.
