Research on green turtle eggs (Chelonia mydas). Ranger collecting data on unhatched eggs from a green turtle nesting site on Sangalaki Island, in Kalimantan, Indonesia. This island is one of the biggest green turtle nesting sites in Borneo, which is fully protected. After the eggs are laid, the nests are guarded by rangers who patrol the area and monitor the egg's hatching rate. Photographed on Sangalaki Island, in Indonesia.
