These latter linescover about3omiles of street. TheUnion Kailwayfom])anyhas recently constructed an extension on Webster Avenuefrom Eordham to Melrose Avenue across the new viaduct Webster Avenue to the city line at Yonkers. The construc-tion of this line will give a double-track service betweenluist 129th Street and the city of Mount Vernon.
