Zebra Swallowtail (Protographium marcellus) Adult silhouetted on Bigleaf Magnolia (Magnolia macrophylla) leaf. The Zebra Swallowtail is found in varied habitats throughout the southeastern US. The primary foodplant for the larvae is Paw Paw in the genus Asimina. Bigleaf Magnolia have the largest leaves of any deciduous tree species in the US.
