Aerial view of a 100 feet high statue of Gautama Buddha. It is located on the hilltop of North Mithachari in Ramu Upazila of Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. According to locals, it is the largest statue in Asia. Rich in traditional Buddhist heritage, Ramu has numerous ancient historical monuments. Ramu Buddhist Temple, Vihara and Chaitya-Jadi are notable among them. There are about 35 Buddhist temples or Kang and Jadi in Ramu. Bangladesh.
