One of the best of early ' blue ' peas. It bears in pro- fusion long, well filled pods containing peas of good size, a bright green color, sweet and of good flavor. The plants present an attractive apjiearance, as they are completely studded with peas early in the season. For early use iii private or market gardens this sort will prove desirable. The shell is smooth and thin and of a pale green color; flesh thick, solid; vivid orange in color: very dry ; of fine grain and deli- cate flavor. The Squashes weigh from 8 to 11 pounds, and are excellent keepers. 10 cts. per pkt.; 15 ct^. per oz.; J lb., 40 cts. BAY STATE. A new Squash of a peculiar greenish tinge outside and with golden yellow flesh of good , sweet and fine- grained. A little earlier than Essex Hybrid and promises I well as a good keeper.
