The Green Man Festival takes place on the May day bank holiday weekend, each year in the village of Clun in South Shropshire. The event includes the appearance of the Green Man, who parades through the street on the Monday, and the lively performance of Bedlam Morris Dancers. The Mayday celebration is a traditional bank holiday which marks the start of the summer.
