Several hundred people in Bournemouth joined with the nationwide "Stop The Coup" protests. The UK Government led by prime minister Boris Johnson has shut down parliament for five weeks using a mechanism known as proroguing. A nationwide call for protests against the Governments action saw many people march and demonstrate across the Country. 31st August 2019 The group in Bounemouth was organised by Dorset For Europe and co hosted by Another Europe is Possible.
