St Asaph Cathedral, Denbighshire, the smallest cathedral in England and Wales. The original monastery founded on the site C6th, around 560 or 573. Rebuilt C13th and C15th. The existing church is partly Norman, but mainly Medieval, C15th, and considerably restored circa 1870 by Gilbert Scott. The Welsh flag is flying over the tower.
