A percussion pistol, Gosset, Paris, circa 1830 Lightly swamped octagonal barrel with patent breechblock and hair-rifled bore in 12 mm calibre. Silver-inlaid signature "FNI PAR GOSSET A PARIS" on barrel rib. Engraved percussion lock with back trigger and repeated signature (rubbed). Carved walnut stock with engraved iron mounting. Iron parts somewhat pitted in places, barrel somewhat dented. Length 41 cm.
