Chris Cropps, 56th Fighter Wing Chapel volunteer, talks about life in Nazi Germany with Airmen assigned to the 56th Fighter Wing during a Days of Remembrance event, April 28, 2022, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. Cropps was born in 1927 in Frankfurt, Germany, and saw firsthand what Nazi Germany was like. She also witnessed the Allies secure Frankfurt and remembers bombs being dropped and people fleeing the city. The 56th Fighter Wing Diversity and Inclusion Team hosted the event, which allowed Cropps to give Airmen insight on life in Nazi Germany.
