The hotel is supplied with every conceivable modern ap-pliance for the convenience of its GOLF AT DEER PARK. 84 SUMMER EXCURSION ROUTES AND FARES. To the right and left of the spacious center building theeastern and western annexes form a pleasing picture to thearchitectural e3^e. Either one of these buildings would form alarge hotel, but virtually they are one structure, being con-nected by a covered passageway along the first and secondfloors. There are many people who desire to leave their city homesand visit resorts, but are not desirous of living at a hotel. Forthese persons there are delightful private cottages in the im-mediate vicinity of the hotel, which are fully eciuipped andbeautifully furnished for housekeeping, if so desired; but shouldthe occupants wish, they can arrange for their meals at thehotel. It has been customary to open these cottages aboutJune 15th of each year and the hotel proper June 25th. The Glades furnish enchanting drives and bridle pathsthrough the moimtain forests, and consequently a suitablelivery establishment is one of the features of D
