Each engine-room will have anauxiliary condenser made of com-position and sheet brass, of suffi-cient capacity for one third theauxiliary machinery, each con-denser being connected with allthe auxiliary machmery. Each ofthese condensers iviU have a com-bined air and circulating pump. There will be six double-endedboilers about 15 ft. 6 in. diameterand 21 ft. 3 in. long, and two aboutII ft. 8 in. diameter and 18 ft. SJin. long for the main boilers andtwo single-ended auxiliary boilersabout 10 ft. diameter and 8 ft. 6in. long. Tlie boilers will be ofthe horizontal return tire-tubetype, all constructed of steel for aworking pressure of 160 lbs. persquare inch. The main boilerswill be placed in four water-tightcompartments, and the auxiliaryboilers on the protective will be three athwart-shipfire rooms in each of the mainboiler compartments. Each
