Murphy Barn and the Grand Tetons at Grand Tetons National Park, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, USA

In Jackson Hole, Wyoming: This photograph is of a barn on the Thomas Murphy homestead. Thomas Murphy first entered Jackson Hole in 1908 and settled in a small Mormon "line village" along a community road. In 1920 Joe Heninger bought Murphy's homestead and rebuilt the barn and stored mail trucks there during the summer and horses and sleighs in the winter. Non-Mormons in the area eventually called the community road, Mormon Row and the name stuck.
