SPLIT, Croatia (Oct. 7, 2014) Lt. Djuan Wilcher, assigned to amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19), gives a de-brief for a joint visit, board, search and seizure (VBSS) training with members of the Croatian and Slovenian navies aboard the Croatian ship HRM Cetina (DBM-81) during a scheduled port visit. Mesa Verde, part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group with the embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
