Haematoma of the scrotum of a 76 year old man after the surgical removal of a testicle (orchidectomy). This operation is usually performed to treat testicular cancer. A haematoma is an abnormal accumulation of blood. It usually disappears naturally within a few days, but if it is causing pain the haematoma may be drained.
