Description op fruit and tree.—Fruit compressed-spherical, slightly drawnout at stem end like tangerine; of medium size, averaging 2$ inches in diameterand about 2| inches in height; weight from 163 to 248 grams; calyx persistent as incommon orange; color chrome yellow, considerably darker than the pomelo, thoughnot so red as the tangerine; specific gravity about the same as water; skin thin, aboutone-eighth of an inch in thickness, loose and easily removable, like the skin of the Yearbook U. S. Dept. of Agriculture, ■
