Tab. 31 - Fig branch cut transversly. Nehemiah Grew (September 26, 1641 - March 25, 1712) was an English plant anatomist and physiologist, known as the Father of Plant Anatomy. In 1671 he took the degree of at Leiden University. In 1672, he settled in London, and soon acquired an extensive practice as a physician.
