The fecond figure of plate XII. is a fequel of what we haveadvanced ; for, fuppofing the objects to appear fuch as is the an-gle they are feen in, it follows, that, if feveral lines be drawnbetween the fides of the fame triangle, they will all appear equal:Thus all the lines comprifed between the fides ON, OP, ofthe triangle N O P, will appear equal to each other, and, asobjecfts comprehended under the fame angle feem equal, fo allcomprehended under a greater angle feem greater, and all undera fmaller, fmaller.
