An Indian gold-inlaid tulwar,1st half of the 19th century. Heavy Persian single-edged blade with several fullers at the point. A long script cartouche,surrounded by gold inlay(worn),engraved on the obverse side of the blade. The opposite side bears engraved script and stylised lion cartouches. Iron knuckle-bow hilt,its surfaces entirely inlaid(well preserved)with floral design patterns in gold.
