Ty Bach farmhouse, Bardsey Island, with electric lighting run by a generator. One of the 'model farms' built 1870-75 by Lord Newborough. Artist & writer Brenda Chamberlain lived on Bardsey 1947-61, mainly in Carreg farmhouse, she described her experiences in the book Tide-race published in 1962.
