Chappaqua NY USA 30 October 2012: Damage is apparent the day after Hurricane Sandy hit Westchester County, New York with winds strong enough to uproot trees such as this giant oak. While this tree caused some property damage, it was minor compared to elsewhere in the region where three people, including two young boys, lost their lives when trees fell on homes.
